x =

2³ × 3 × 5

2³ = 2 × 2 × 2 = 8

8 × 3 × 5 = 120

∴ x = 120

y =

2² × 3³

2² = 2 × 2 = 4

3³=  3 × 3 × 3 = 27

4 × 27 = 108

∴ y = 108

Now, we have to find the HCF of 120 and 108.
