Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)= 2x-4ax³+7x²-13ax-18

here x-2a is a factor so x=2a will be satisfy this equation

so. put x=2a

f(2a)=0

2(2a)-4a(2a)³+7(2a)²+13a(2a)-18=0

2(16a)-4a(8a³)+7(4a²)+126a²18=0

32a-32a+28a²-26a²-18=0

2a²-18=0

2a²=18

a²=9

a=±3
