Given
x-2 is a factor of the given polynomial

p(x)= 3x⁴- 2x³+7x²-21x+k

Now , x-2=0
x=2

p(2)= 3(2)⁴- 2(2)³+7(2)²-21(2)+k
0= 3(16)-16+28-42+k
0= 48-58+28+k
-k= 76-58
k= -18

Hope this helps you.....
