Solution

Given :-

  • x + 2y = 15_________(1)
  • x + y = 6 ________(2)

Find :-

  • Value of x & y

Explanation

Sub. equ(1) & equ(2)

➡ 2y - y = 15 - 6

➡y = 9

Keep Value in equ(2)

➡x + 9 = 6

➡x = 6 - 9

➡x = -3

Hence

  • Value of x = -3
  • Value of y = 9

_______________

Verification

Keep value of x & y in equ(2)

➡ -3 + 9 = 6

➡6 = 6
