If x+2y =5 and 2x-5y =100 Then find the value of x and y?

solving by algebric equation x=5-2y take this as equation (I) and in the second equation substitute the value of x . Therefore 2x= 2(5-2y)
and the equation will be 10-4y-5y=100 [ from (I) ] = 10-9y =100 and u solve for y and then put the value of y in any equation and solve for x
