Step-by-step explanation:

x=√3-√2\√3+√2 and y=√3+√2\√3-√2

so, xy = 1

after rationalising

x= (√3-√2)²

similarly

y=(√3+√2)²

x+y=(√3-√2)²+(√3+√2)²

=5+5=10

(x+y)²=10²

x²+y²+2xy=100

x²+y²+xy=100-xy

x²+y²+xy=100-1=99 answer
