Step-by-step explanation:

ifx is a solution of the equation and x =3/2

2x^2 + px - 6 = 0

2(3/2)^2 + p × 3/2 - 6 = 0

9/2 + 3p/2 - 6 = 0

9 + 3p - 12 = 0 ( i have taken LCM)

3p = 12 - 9

p = 3/3

p = 1
