\underline{SOLUTION}

Given \: \\ \\ x = \frac{3}{ 2} \: \: is \: \: a \: \: zero \: \: of \: the \: polynomial \: \\ \\ 2x {}^{2} + kx - 12 \: . \\ \\ \\ To \: find : \: Value \: \: of \: \: \: k \\ \\ \\ Now, \\ \\ By \: putting \: the \: value \: \: of \: x = \frac{3}{2} \: \: in \: \\ the \: equation \: ,\: we \: \: get \:, \: \\ \\ 2x {}^{2} + kx - 12= 0 \\ \\ = > 2 \times (\frac{3}{2} ) {}^{2} + k \times \frac{3}{2} - 12 = 0 \\ \\ = > 2 \times \frac{9}{4 } + \frac{3 k}{2} - 12 = 0 \\ \\ = > \frac{9}{2} + \frac{3 k}{2} - 12 = 0 \\ \\ = > \frac{9 + 3 k - 24}{2} = 0 \\ \\ = > \frac{3 k - 15}{2} = 0 \\ \\ = > 3 k - 15 = 0 \\ \\ = > 3 k = 15 \\ \\ = > k = \frac{15}{3} \\ \\ = > k = 5

K=3/2

Q=2x^2+kx-12 then value of k=

2*9/4+k*3/2-12=0

=9/2+k*3/2-12=0

=9/2+k*3/2=12

=K*3/2=12-9/2

=3/2k=12/1-9/2

=3k/2=24-9/2

=3k/2=15/2

=K=15/2*2/3

K=5
