p ( 3/2 ) = 2 × ( 3/2 ) ∧2 + k × 3/2 + 12 = 0

= 2 × 9/4 + 3/2k + 12  = 0

= 9/2 + 3/2k + 12 = 0

= 9 + 3k + 12 × 2 = 0

= 33 +  3k = 0

3k = - 33

k = - 33 × 3 = - 99
