Hi friend
--------------
your answer
---------------------

(x³ + 3ax - 2a ) has a factor (x - 2).

To find : - a = ?

Let , p(x) = x³ + 3ax - 2a

x - 2 = 0

=> x = 2

Then,
-----------

p(2) = (2)³ + 3 × a × 2 - 2a = 0

=> 8 + 6a - 2a = 0

=> 4a = - 8

=> a = - 8/4

=> a = - 2
