$= 3+\sqrt{8} -(\frac{3-\sqrt{8}}{(3+\sqrt{8})(3-\sqrt{8}} )$

$=3+\sqrt{8} -(\frac{3-\sqrt{8}}{(9-8)} )$

$= 3+\sqrt{8} -(3-\sqrt{8)}$

$= 3+\sqrt{8} -3+\sqrt{8}$

$= 2\sqrt{8}$
