Given : If x=3+√8 then find the value of x³-1/x³

To Find : The value of x³-1/x³ when the value of x=3+√8

Solution :By substituting the value of x into it

values : x=3+√8,findx³-1/x³

x³-1/x³= 3+√8-1/3+√8

→ LCM is 3+√8

→ [ 3+√8]²-1/3+√8

→[3]²+[√8]²+2×3×√8-1/3+√8

→ [9+8+6√8-1/3+√8]

→17-1+6√8/3+√8

→16+6√8/3+√8

Solution Part 2:

Now we should rationalise the denominator

16+68×3-8

3+√8×3-√8

48-168+188-48

[3]²-[8]²

28

9-8

28

Value of x is 28

[x-1/x]³=[28]³

-1/+28=181

-1/=181-28

x³-1/=181-175

-1/=6
