Answer:

Let take x = 3 ( as x-3 is a factor )

Then the eqn.,

=> 9a + 15 + b = 0 __(1)

& x = 1/3 ( as x-1/3 is also a factor )

Then the eqn.,

=> a/9 + 5/3 + b = 0

=> a + 15 + 9b = 0 __(2)

Solving 1 & 2,

=> a = -3/2, & b = - 3/2. => a = b.

=) Hence proved.

Answer:

Given:x-3

Step-by-step explanation:

Let take x = 3 ( as x-3 is a factor )

Then the eqn.,

=> 9a + 15 + b = 0 __(1)

& x = 1/3 ( as x-1/3 is also a factor )

Then the eqn.,

=> a/9 + 5/3 + b = 0

=> a + 15 + 9b = 0 __(2)

Solving 1 & 2,

=> a = -3/2, & b = - 3/2. => a = b.

=) Hence proved.
