Step-by-step explanation:

x=3 y=-2

4px-3y=12

4(3)p-3(-2)=12

12p+6=12

p=12-6/12

p=6/12

p=1/2 or 0.5

Given :  x = 3 and y = -2 is a solution of the equation 4px - 3y = 12,

To Find :  value of p

Solution:

Solution of the equation satisfy the equation.

equation 4px - 3y = 12,

x = 3 and y = -2 is a solution

Hence Substitute x = 3 and y = - 2

=> 4p(3) - 3(-2)  = 12

=> 12p + 6 = 12

=> 12p = 12 - 6

=> 12p = 6

=> p = 6/12

=> p = 1/2

=> p = 0.5

Value of p  is  1/2  or 0.5
