if x=3 and y=2 what is (x+y)^2 and (xy)^2

Answer:

(x + y) ^2

=(3 + 2) ^2

=(5)^2

=25

(xy)^2

=(3×2)^2

=(6)^2

=36

1) (x+y)^2

(3+2)^2

it is in the form of (a+b)^2

= 3^2+ 2^2+2.3.2

=9+4+12

= 25

= 5^2

2) (xy)^2

= (3×2)^2

=(6)^2

=36
