Answer:

x+3=0

x=-3

3x²+Kx+6

3(-3)²+k(-3)+6

3(9)-3k+6

27-3k+6

-3k+33

-3k=-33

3k=33

k=33/3

k=11

Given:-

  • P(x) = 3x² + kx + 6

  • f(x) = x + 3

To Find:-

  • The Value of k

Concept used:h

  • Factor theorem

Now,

→ f(x) = x + 3

→ x + 3 = 0

→ x = -3

Putting the Value of "x" in P(x)

→ 3x² + kx + 6

→ 3 ( -3 )² + k ( -3 ) + 6

→ 3 × 9 - 3k + 6 = 0

→ 27 - 3k + 6 = 0

→ 33 - 3k = 0

→ -3k = -33

→ 3k = 33

→ k = 33/3

→ k = 11

Hence, The Value of k is 11.
