Given,
p(x) = x³ - Ax² + (A+1)x - 10
Using remainder theorem, if x-3 is factor of p(X) then, x = 3 will satisfy the polynomial
Hence, putting x= 3
3³ - A×3² + (A+1)3 -10 = 0
27 - 9A + 3A + 3 - 10 = 0
20 - 6A = 0
6A = 20
A = 10/3
p(x) = x³ - Ax² + (A+1)x - 10
Using remainder theorem, if x-3 is factor of p(X) then, x = 3 will satisfy the polynomial

3³ - A×3² + (A+1)3 -10 = 0

20 - 6A = 0
6A = 20
A = 10/3
