• When we put value of x we get zero as resultant coz it is factor of that polynomial that means it is Zeros of that polynomial.

• x - 3 when divide polynomial it give 0 as remainder.

• x = 3 is the same .

• 2x² + x + k

2 ( 3 )² + 3 + k = 0

2 × 9 + 3 + k = 0

18 + 3 + k = 0

k = - 21

• If we put 4 at the place of x we never get 0 as resultant.

Palaktaneja: I am confused resultant means??
