Hey there !

________________________________

Given :

x = 3 is the zero of the polynomial x² - 6x² + 6x + + k.

To find :

Value of k.

Solution :
-------------

Let p(x) = x² - 6x² + 6x + k.

g(x) = x = 3

==> Putting the value of x = 3 in the given polynomial.

=> x² - 6x² + 6x + k = 0

=> 3² - 6 (3)² + 6 × 3 + k = 0

=> 9 - 6 × 9 + 18 + k = 0

=> 9 - 54 + 18 + k = 0

=> 9 - 36 + k = 0

=> -27 + k = 0

=> k = 27

.·. k = 27

Hence, the value of k is found.

The answer is k = 27.
