As per the equation, 2x = 3y. Also, x+y=180 (linear pair). Solving these 2 equations we get x = 108° and y = 72°

saketbagade: x/3 = y/2. So, by cross-multiplication, we get 2x = 3y

X =3Y÷2
and X+Y=180
so, 3Y÷2+Y=180
5Y=180×2=360
Y=72
hence... X=3Y÷2=(72×3)÷2=108
