Answer: Question wrong, see below

Step-by-step explanation:

If x=3, y=-4 ,z=-7 then we have to verify x x (y+z) = (x x y) + x / z

L.H.S = x x ( y + z ) =  3 x { -4 + (-7)} = 3 x { - 4 - 7 } =3 x ( -11) = -33

R.H.S = (x x y) + x\z = {3 x (-4)} + 3 /( -7) = -12 -3/7 = -87/7

so R.HS. is not equal to L.H.S.

Actual answer will be: x x (y+z) = (x x y) + (x x z)

you can verify using the same proccedure.
