Given,

x = 37.5% of 20% of 48

y = 14.28% of 27.27% of 77

To find,

Value of x and y

Solution,

First, for calculating the value of x putting the values in the numerical form

We will get, x = [37.5%(20%×48)]

Applying the BODMAS rule,

So first we have to multiply the values under the inner brackets and then under the outer brackets

So, x = [37.5%× 9.6]

x = 3.6

Similarly, for calculating the value of y putting the values in the numerical form

We will get, y = [14.28%(27.27%×77)]

y = [14.28%× 21]

y = 3

Hence, the values of x and y are 3.6 and 3 respectively.
