Answer:

(x-3) and x-13 are both factors means x=3 and x=13 by sustituting the value for this

ax2 +5x+b x=3

=a(3)2 +5(3)+b

=a(9)+15+b

=9a+15+b= 0

= 9a+b= -15

= a+b=-159

=a=-53 -b

x=13

=a(13)2+5(13)+b

=a(19) +(53)+b

= 19a +53+b = 0

19a=53-b

a= 593 -b

a= 53 -b # a=b

=>(x-3) and (x-13) are both factors means =>x=3 and x=13

By sustituting the value for this ax2 +5x+b

i)x=3

=a(3)2 +5(3)+b

=9a+15+b= 0

= a+b=-159

=a=-53 -b

ii)x=13

=a(13)2+5(13)+b

=a(19) +(53)+b

= 19a +53+b = 0

= a= 53 -b

Therefore, a=b

Hope it helps u....✌️❣️
