Answer:

1st we can write x⁴+1/x⁴=(x²)²+1/(x²)²…(1)

Now, using formula (a²+b²)=(a+b)²–2ab

So, in equation (1) we write , [(x²)+1/(x²)]²–2x²×1/x²

= [(x²)+1/(x²)]²–2

Again using formula ,so we write [(x+1/x)²–2x×1/x]²–2

=[(x+1/x)²–2]²–2

Since,x+1/x=5 so.we put the value,in above equation

=[5²–2]²–2

=[25–2]²–2

=(23)²–2

=529–2

=527
