Given: (x + 4/2) + 3*(1 + 2x/4) = 0.

To find: The value of x.

Answer:

x + 4/2 + 3*(1 + 2x/4) = 0

x + 4/2 + 3 + 6x/4 = 0

x/1 + 4/2 + 3/1 + 6x/4 = 0

LCM: 4

x/1*4/4 = 4x/4

4/2*2/2 = 8/4

3/1*4/4 = 12/4

4x/4 + 8/4 + 12/4 + 6x/4 = 0

10x/4 + 20/4 = 0

10x/4 = -20/4

10x = -20/4*4

10x = -80/4

x = -80/4/10

x = -80/4*1/10

x = -80/40

or -4/2 (Simplified Version)

Hope it helps :)
