Hii friend,

X= 4/9 , Y = -7/12 and Z = -2/3

Therefore,

X-(Y-Z) = 4/9 - (-7/12 - (-2/3)

= 4/9 - (-7/12 + 2/3)

= 4/9 - (-7 × 1 + 2 × 4 ÷ 12)

= 4/9 - (-7+8/12)

= 4/9 -(1/12)

= 4/9 - 1/12

= 4 × 4 - 1 × 3 ÷ 36

= 16-3/36

= 13/36

And,

(X-Y) - Z = [(4/9 - (-7/12)] - (-2/3)

= [ 4/9 + 7/12 ]+ 2/3

= (4× 4 + 7 × 3 ÷ 36 )+ 2/3

= (16+22/36) + 2/3

= 38/46 + 2/3

= 38 × 3 + 2 × 69 ÷ 138

= 114 + 138 / 138

= 252/138

= 42/23

Hence,

X-(Y-Z) is not equal to (X-Y)-Z

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU..... :-)
