ANSWER :

x=4/9

y= -7/12

z=2/3

Substitute these values in the equation , then you will get the answer .

STEP-BY-STEP EXPLANATION :

x-(y-z) =/= (x-y)-z

x=4/9

y= -7/12

z=2/3

LHS = x-(y-z)

       = 4/9-(7/12 -2/3)

       = 4/9-(-21-24/36)

       = 4/9-(-45/36)

       = 4/9+45/36

       = 144+405/324

       = 549/324

       = 1.69

RHS = (x-y)-z

        = (4/9-(-7/12))-2/3

        = (4/9+7/12)-2/3

        = (48+63/108)-2/3

        = 111/324-2/3

        = 333-216/324

        = 117/324

        = 0.36

Therefor ,

               1.69 =/= 0.36

                LHS =/= RHS

       HENCE VERIFIED

Hope it helps you...
