If x + 4 is a factor of the polynomial x2+ ax + 4b and a + b = 8 then find the value of a and b.​

so if we put x=-4 in polynomial then it will be zero

(-4)^2+a(-4)+4b=0

16-4a+4b=0

4a=16+4b

a=4+b

→a-b=4 n also given a+b=8

so by solving a=6 n by putting it in a+b=8

we get b=2
