put the value of x=-4 in eqn x2+kx-4=0
-4×2+k×-4-4=0
-8-4k-4=0
-4k=12
so, k= -3
put the value of k in eqn x2+PX+k=0
-4×2-4p-3=0
-8-3-4p=0
-4p=11
p=-11/3
