if x+4/y=4 and y+6/x=6, find x, y​

Answer:

Firstly from given condition we will make two equation in two variable in the form of x and y by solving them as given below》

 \frac{x + 4}{y}  = 4 \\  \implies x + 4 = 4y \\   \implies  x - 4y =  - 4 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: .............(i)

Also

 \frac{y + 6}{x}  = 6 \\  \implies y + 6 = 6x \\  \implies 6x - y = 6 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ..............(ii)

Now, solving equation(¡) and equation(ii) simultaneously we get》

x =  \frac{28}{23} \:  and \: y =  \frac{30}{23}

We can also verify our answer by putting these values of x and y in both equations .
