If (x + 40°) and (y + 10°) are supplementary to each other , find the sum of x and y .​

Sum of supplementary angles = 180°

From question (x + 40°) and (y + 10°) are supplementary to each other

So, x + 40° + y + 10° = 180°

     x + y = 180° - 50° = 130°

x + y = 130°
