if x=5-2√6 then find the value of √x

Given,

 x = 5 - 2√6.

So, √x = √ ( 5 - 2√6 )

 ⇒ √x = √( 3 + 2 - 2√6 )

 ⇒ √x = √ { ( √3 )² + ( √2 )² - 2 × √3 × √2 }

 ⇒ √x = √( √3 - √2 )²

 ⇒ √x = √3 - √2
