since

x=(5+2√6),

then

1/x =(5-2√6),

therefore

x - 1/x =(5+2√6)-(5-2√6),

x - 1/x =2√6+2√6,

x + 1/x =4√6

Answer: 2√2

Step-by-step explanation:

x=5+2√6

Then,  √x = √3+√2

According to Question

x-1÷√x = (5+2√6) -1 ÷ √3+√2

4 + 2√6 ÷ √3 + √2

Rationalizing the denominator

(4+2√6) (√3-√2)  ÷ (√3)^2-(√2) ^2

4√3 - 4√2 + 2√18 - 2√12 ÷ 3-2

2√18 can be written as 6√2

2√12 can be written as 4√3

4√3 - 4√2 + 6√2 - 4√3

6√2 - 4√2 = 2√2
