=(x+y)÷(x-y) (substitute the values)

put x=5/2, y= -3/4

=[5/2+(-3/4)]÷[5/2-(-3/4)]

=(5/2-3/4)÷(5/2+3/4)

LCM=4

(make the denominator same by using LCM)

=[(5/2)×2-3/4]÷[(5/2)×2+3/4]

=(10/4-3/4)÷(10/4+3/4)

=(10-3/4)÷(10+3/4)

=7/4÷13/4

(take reciprocal of the first term)
