If X=5 and 'a' is a whole number, which of the following is not always true. (5)

b. x-a=5-a​

5*a=5*a which is independent of x so it is always true

ii)  x-a=5-a ​ if we substitute x=5 we get

5-a=5-a which is equal to 0

so both the statements are true and independent of a
