x = -5 & y = 6 is the solution of

3x + ky = 15 ______ ( i )

So, just put x = -5 & y = 3 in ( i )

→ 3(-5) + k(3) = 15

→ -15 + 3k = 15

→ 3k = 15 + 15

→ k = 30/3

Hence, k = 10 ______________ (Ans.)

Hope it helps.
