REPLACE P(X) BY -5

THE YOU WILL GET

P(-5)=2(-5)^3+3(-5)^2+4(-5)+k=0

240+75-20+K=0

K=-295

g(x)=x+5

p(x)=2x^3+3x^2+4x+k

g(x)=0

x+5=0

x=-5

p(-5)=0

2x^3+3x^2+4x+k=0

2(-5)^3+3(-5)^2+4(-5)+k=0

2(-125)+3(25)-20+k=0

-250+75-20+k=0

-175-20+k=0

-195+k=0

k=195

hope it help you.......
