given,

x = 5

y = 2

then,

 {({x}^{y}  +  {y}^{x})}^{ - 1}  =  \frac{1}{ {x}^{y}  + {y}^{x}  }

 =  \frac{1}{  {5}^{2} +  {2}^{5} }

 =  \frac{1}{25 + 4}

 =  \frac{1}{29}
