Given,

First equation is :

x+5y = 34

Second equation is :

x-5y = -6

To find,

The value of (5y-2x)

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Now,

x+5y = 34 ....(I)

x-5y = -6....(II)

By, adding (II) with (I), we get -

ㅤx+5y = 34

(+) x-5y = -6

___________

ㅤㅤㅤ2x = 28

So,

2x = 28

or, x = 28/2

or, x = 14

Now, putting the derived value of x into (I)

14+5y = 34

or, 5y = 34-14

or, 5y = 20

or, y = 20/5

or, y = 4

Finally, putting the derived values of x and y, in the expression of (5x-2y) :

= (5×14)-(2×4)

= 70-8

= 62

(This will be considered as the final result.)

Hence, the value of (5x-2y) is 62
