 \frac{5x}{3y + x}  \\  \\ where \: x = 6 \: and \: y =  - 4 \\  \\  =  \frac{5(6)}{3( - 4) + (6)}  \\  \\  =  \frac{30 }{ - 12 + 6}  \\  \\  =  \frac{30}{ - 6}  \\  \\  =  - 5
