 {x}^{8} + \frac{1}{ {x}^{8} } = 38 \\ {( {x}^{4} )}^{2} + {( \frac{1}{ {x}^{4} }) }^{2} = 38 \\ ( { {x}^{4} - \frac{1}{ {x}^{4} } })^{2} + 2( {x}^{4} )( \frac{1}{ {x}^{4} } ) = 38 \\ {( {x}^{4} - \frac{1}{ {x}^{4} } )}^{2} = 38 - 2 \\ ( {x}^{4} - \frac{1}{ {x}^{4} } ) = \sqrt{36} \\ ( {x}^{4} - \frac{1}{ {x}^{4} } ) = 6

tushargumber: wrong
ramuchhetri: then Post the right solution
tushargumber: if I know the answer why I ask it
tushargumber: here 2 is added into 38 not subtracted
tushargumber: and I ask x^4-1/x^4 u give the sol. of x^4+1/x^4
ramuchhetri: i had sign mistakes now corrected is it ok ?
tushargumber: yaa now ok
