Solution

X=a cos∅

Y=b sin∅

therefore...

b²X²+a²Y²

=b²a²cos²∅+a²b²sin²∅

=a²b²(sin²∅+cos²∅)

=a²b² (answer)

Hope this helps you ✌️

Answer:

  1. x=a
  2. y=b
  • b^2a^2+a^2b^2
  • 2a^2b^2
  • 2(a^2b^2)
