p(x) = 2x²+3ax+1

Since x+a is a zero of p(x),

-a is a root of p(x)

therefore, p(-a) = 0

p(-a) = 2(-a)² + 3×-a×a + 1 = 0

2a² -3a² +1 = 0

= 1

a = ±1

{Answer}

=Let p of x = 2x^2+3ax+1

☆if x+a is a zero of the p(x) then p (-a)=0☆

= 2 (-a)^2+3a(-a)+1=0

= 2a^2-3a^2=-1

= -a^2=-1

= a^2=1

= a=root 1
