Good evening friend.

How are you?

Happy New Year.

Given x=a sinθ and y=a cosθ

x ^2  +y^2

 =(asinθ) ^2 +(acosθ)^ 2

 =a ^2 (sin^2 θ+cos^2 θ)

=a^2

Hope my answer help you.

and remain happy.
