if x=a sin theta and y=b cos theta then prove x^2/a^2+y^2/b^2=1​

substitute the value for x and y such that you get a^2×sin^2/a^2 + b^2×cos^2/b^2
cancel a^2 and b^2
you will get
sin^2 +cos^2
(sin^2 + cos^2 =1)
