It can be written as

Also y is inversely proportional to x can be written as

It means that y=\frac{k}{x} where k is a constant.

Then we can have that  x=\frac{k}{y}

xy=k

Option C) is correct

∴ xy equals to constant i.e, xy=k(constant).
