if x and y are roots of the equation 4x^2+3x+7=0, what are 1/x and 1/y​

x and y are the roots

therefore , -b/a = x

and c/ a = y

in 4x^2 + 3x + 7 = 0

a = 4 = cofficient of x^2

b = 3 = cofficient of x

c = 7 = constant number

so ,

- b/a = x = - ( -3 / 4)

c/a = y = 7/4

so

1/x = 4/-3

1/y = 4/7
