To find:

If x and y be two co-prime numbers, then HCF (x, y) is ​

Solution:

The two numbers are said to be co-prime, mutually prime or relatively prime if they have the highest common factor as only 1.

So, the values of x and y don't matter, if they are co-primes, then their HCF will always be 1.

∴  HCF (x, y) = 1
