SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

If x belongs to whole numbers, then the solution set of the inequation - x > - 7

EVALUATION

Here the given inequation is

- x > - 7

Multiplying both sides by - 1 we get

x < 7

Now the whole numbers less than 7 are 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6

Since x belongs to whole numbers

Hence the required solution set is given by

S = { 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 }
