if x equal to cos square theta and y equal to sin square theta then y2 at π/4 is? ​

Answer:

given x = cos²x.......(1)

y= sin²x....……(2)

At , π/4

y²= sin²π/4

= (1√2)²

= 1/2

adding (1)&(2),

x+y = sin²x+ cos²x

x+y= 1

x= 1-1/2

= 1/2

hence value of X and y is 1/2 & 1/2 respectively.
